TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) was established in the UK by its Indian parent TCS Ltd in 1975 and today is ranked among the world’s top 20 IT consultancies. There are eight offices, including a development centre in Guildford (one of 32 the company operates globally), while staff are based at some 42 client locations across the UK. Indeed 2004-05 was a year of milestones for the company. It made an historic debut on the stock markets in August 2004.
